Aanstaande vrijdag vind er tijdens de lunch een vergadering plaats over de plannen voor het komende jaar. Deze vergadering is hoofdzakelijk bedoeld als informatiemiddag voor het team van volgend jaar, maar mocht je interesse hebben in het project hebben: kom gerust even langs. Voor lunch zal gezorgd worden.

Ontwerp de Eco-Runner 3

Vanaf september 2010 wil het Eco-Runner Team een nieuwe Eco-Runner gaan ontwerpen en bouwen om hiermee een gooi naar het wereldrecord van 5385 km/l te doen. “Het door onze Zwitserse collega’s gevestigde record staat al een paar jaar. Het zou fantastisch als we dit tijdens de Shell Eco-Marathon zouden kunnen evenaren of misschien zelfs verbreken.”

Om dit te kunnen verwezenlijken is het Eco-Runner team Delft hard op zoek naar nieuwe leden: “We zoeken vooral mensen met kennis van brandstofcellen, elektronica, aerodynamica en aandrijving, maar motivatie speelt ook een grote rol.” Mocht je mee willen helpen aan de bouw van het zuinigste voertuig ter wereld of meer willen weten over het project zelf dan kun je contact opnemen via info@ecorunner.nl.

Shell Eco-marathon testday

We are almost there. March 30, the official Shell Eco-Marathon test day will take place in the Olypmic stadium in Amsterdam. This day, all dutch particpants will test and adjust their vehicles for the big race begin May. At the end of the day, a debate on energie will take place. Good news!

We finally managed to get our steering system up and running again. The system was damaged last year and has never worked again, untill yesterday. We are glad that there has been a lot of progress lately and we are confident to get our vehicle driving again before the end of the month.

We are happy to inform you that there is a new Eco Runner Team Delft. Since the end of December 2009 we are working very hard to get our vehicle, the Eco-Runner H2, back in business. We’ll try to get this website up to date as soon as possible. Hope to see you again,
